Interiors // My Room - New Beginnings // Tumblr Moodboard

My parents bought a house. And we are moving in on Friday. 

Now, I’ve never been particularly good with change and we only hauled ourselves into this place a year ago, so I am happily admitting my reluctance of packing everything up… again. I have actually yet to see my room… but after living in a rented house for a year, and being unable to stick anything on the walls, I know I definitely want to decorate my new room as nicely as possible!

The moodboard is supposed to give me an idea of how I want my room to feel - not to look the same exactly but to take inspiration from the decorations and general atmosphere and idea of them. Partly because I suspect my room is not that big and also because making sunken beds isn’t in my dad’s DIY skillset.

I’m probably going to borrow some ideas from my friends too… I recently found out one of them doesn’t even have a bed and much prefers a Japanese futon. And also owns a bonsai tree.
