Lipstick, Matchsticks and Appliquéd Hearts
I have yet to show you guys my love for fashion and I decided it was high time I combined a few of my loves into one post - gorgeous tailoring and colourful, but simple prints.
The Stella McCartney Resort 2014 collection is amazing. Though it was released last year (because the fashion world is odd) I’m going to post about it now as 1. better late than never and 2. this collection features snakeskin prints, amazing silhouettes and flirty mini dresses with perfect minimalism - and all of it can be worn on the street with a bit of sass. I don’t think I’ve wanted anything more in my whole life.
Here are my top five from her collection:
#5 (Look 9)

The closing at the top of this jacket gives the right amount of openness (and a peek of skin) to this look. The pale pink is perfect with the shorts.
#4 (Look 19)

This dress is so adorable! I love the structure of the shoulders - the silhouette makes such a statement and a giant pair of lace lips and a lace heart appliquéd to the front gives touch of surrealism.
#3 (Look 14)

The oversized peacoat is such a fun fit! The colour is sure to make any look stand out and matches so well with the pretty pink.
#2 (Look 11)

I just think this look is so cool. Imagine walking down the street in this? Simple pieces with gorgeous structure and those trousers are attention catching without being obnoxious.
#1 (Look 29)

Oh my absolute favourite - this white mini skirt with embroidered hearts, lips, and matchsticks and floral crystal details is beautiful. That print is to die for but this skirt would still be such a versatile piece.
I so wish I could have just put all the pictures on here.
This collection is all about springtime girlishness combined with the strength of the snakeskin jacquard. I am hoping that some bloggers and models will wear this at the fashion weeks - I desperately want some street style pictures!
I don’t know how often I can post for the next two weeks as I have mock exams, unfortunately - so I apologise for lack of updates in advance!
