Favourite Outfits of the Week | FOW
Can I call it FOW? Are abbreviations a thing?
Anyway, this week with events such as the People’s Choice Awards, AFI Awards and New York Film Critics Circle Awards, awards season is officially underway! And with awards seasons, come amazing outfits. Here are my favourites from this week.
Paloma Faith in Burberry at the Burberry Prorsum Fall 2014 Menswear Show

Paloma has been the latest to be captivated by the Burberry Prorsum Spring 2014 collection’s charm. I absolutely love how she’s working the pale pink lace skirt and top combined with the oversized baby blue peacoat and silver accessories. OK, so it’s not quite season appropriate, but I am a sucker for pastel and this is perfect.

Adelaide Kane in Rhea Costa at the 2014 People’s Choice Awards

Adelaide Kane received the ‘Favourite New TV Drama Award ’ along with her costar, Torrance Coombs for her new historical fantasy series 'Reign’ which I adore. The actress wore a white Rhea Costa Fall/Winter 2014 dress with white lace inserts. I love the cut of this dress and I am so glad she’s gone for the white Brian Atwood Labrea sandals - anything else would have been too heavy. A turquoise Helmer clutch gives a pop of colour and simple silver studs complete the pretty look.

Léa Seydoux In Prada & Miu Miu at the EE Rising Star Award Photocall

The French actress wowed in a gorgeous pink wool Prada Spring 2014 coat enriched with silver crystal embroidery over an even prettier Miu Miu Spring 2014 cady silk long sleeved dress with floral print and a high neck as well as mint aqua Miu Miu suede pumps with orange and green embellishments. I love the print on her dress - fresh flowers blowing in the breeze. Lea’s looking ready to skip winter all together and head straight for spring, I definitely don’t have a problem with that!
Scarlett Johansson in MaxMara at the Late Show with David Letterman

The actress stayed warm in style wearing a luxe cashmere and smooth silk camel MaxMara ‘Mimma’ coat over a blue Michael Kors dress for her appearance on the Late Show. She styled the look with Jimmy Choo ‘Farci’ sandals, and covered her eyes with oversized Karen Walker ‘Northern Lights’ sunglasses. This is Scarlett doing what she does best - old Hollywood glamour. Just check out her bright red lip and pinup hairstyle! The belt cinches Scarlett’s waist to show off her famous curves and is unbuttoned just enough to allow her to flash some leg to stop the look being too matronly.

So, those were my favourite looks of the week! Which one’s your favourite? Were there any I missed? Let me know in the comments!
And stay tuned for a Golden Globes fashion special :)
