Favourite Outfits of the Week | FOW
Awards season now has so many great outfits that I can’t keep track of all of them… as amazing as the Golden Globes were, it just keeps getting better and I have a feeling that everyone will be pulling out all the stops for the Oscars after the Winter Olympics.
Lupita Nyong’o in Calvin Klein at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

As we’ve seen already, this girl knows how to dress. Dressing to impress, Lupita wore a custom Calvin Klein Collection ivory silk crepe bandeau dress styled with a Calvin Klein Collection gold box clutch, Paul Andrew custom shoes, and Kimberly McDonald Jewellery.
Her gorgeous, smooth skin is so perfect with the colour and with that body…
damn girl. You workin’ it!
I cannot wait for her Oscars outfit.
Amy Adams in Roland Mouret at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

The actress looked stunning again, following her appearance in Valentino at the Golden Globes, but this time in a Roland Mouret gown in shocking pink. The gorgeous streamlined gown featured an interesting draped neckline for intoxicating sensuality, and black grosgrain ribbon accenting her waist and shoulders. Simple Neil Lane jewellery and black Christian Louboutins accessorised her look.
Jamie Chung In Julien Macdonald at HBO’s Golden Globe Awards Afterparty

The ‘Once Upon a Time’ star looked amazing in a Julien Macdonald Fall 2013 gown at the afterparty. This collection floats a little between sexy and trashy actually but Jamie’s black lace and beaded gown with a central slit and daring plunge is on the right side of sexy. I’m also in love with her intricate Jimmy Choo sandals - the ankle boots as presented on the runway are far too heavy and awkward with such a striking look.
And it turns out the perfect accessories are diamond stud earrings and a giant rock of an engagement ring on your finger! Congratulations to Jamie :)
Jessica Alba in Tory Burch at the Tory Burch Rodeo Drive Flagship Opening

Like most at the event, the actress wore all over Tory Burch - a striped cropped top from the Pre-Fall 2014 collection styled with a green freckled-print single pleat skirt from the Spring 2014 collection with pointy white heels. I have to say, I adore the metallic sheen on this outfit, and the light, spring vibe it brings. The stripes bring a nice element to what could have simply been a 'boring block colour top + patterned skirt’ ensemble. Relaxed waves and a gold 'Fret’ Tory Burch clutch completed her look.
So, who was your favourite this week?
